The Cane Corso (also known as the Italian Mastiff) was originally bred to hunt large game and was also used as a farm dog and cattle drover. Although the Cane Corso's ancestry dates back to the 7th Century, it was not officially recognized in it's native land of Italy until 1994.

Average Weight: 84 - 110 pounds
